An introduction to researchers and editors_NOV_2023

"AJOL's particular area of interest is the amplification of African voices in the global research sphere, and so obviously we're interested in all and every way to assist African researchers on the continent to improve their publication protocols and standards. Having an ORCID iD is manifestly very important for that, but anecdotal evidence suggests that relatively few African researchers have taken the opportunity to get an ORCID.Therefore, the objective of the webinar is quite simple — we just wish to give an overview of what ORCID does, what ORCID iDs are for in the first place, why it is beneficial for researchers to have an ORCID iD, and, particularly, how to go about getting one."
